Gloria Jean's Coffees an Australian owned global specialty coffee company, and is a brand synonymous with coffee quality and leading franchise systems.
The Gloria Jean's Coffees story began in the USA in 1979 when Gloria Jean and Ed Kvetko opened a specialty gourmet coffee outlet in a small town just north of Chicago.
With appreciation for quality coffee growing, it wasn't long before Gloria Jean's Coffees outlets started to appear around the USA.
More than 16 years later, Nabi Saleh, an Australian businessman and coffee expert, experienced the brand while in the USA and with his business partner, Peter Irvine, brought Gloria Jean's Coffees across the globe to Australia.
Australia quickly became Gloria Jean's Coffees' fastest growing market. So with a recipe for success, Nabi and Peter set their sights on realising a vision to make Gloria Jean's Coffees the most loved and respected coffee company in the world.
In 2004, they returned to the USA and purchased the international branding and roasting rights for all countries outside of the USA.
Four years later, the story has come full circle. In early 2009 Gloria Jean's Coffees International affiliate company, Praise International North America Inc, completed negotiations to buy Gloria Jean's Coffees U.S. retail and franchise operations from its current U.S. owner comprising of 102 coffee houses in 24 states.
Today Gloria Jean's Coffees is located in numerous countries around the world and continues to find a place in the hearts of coffee lovers everywhere.
Wendy's Ice Cream
From humble beginnings to leading treat destination
In 1979, entrepreneurs Geoff Davis and Phil Rogers opened the doors to their first treat business in a South Australian shopping centre. Word soon spread about the tiny store selling delicious ice cream sundaes and treats and, by lunchtime on the opening day, the centre's mains power had blown as the store's machinery struggled to keep up with customer demand.
This extraordinary beginning was the start of a brand that has developed into one of the nation's most recognised and well-loved franchises – Wendys.
With more than three decades of successful franchising experience, the company has come a long way since those humble beginnings. Wendys now has over 250 store across Australia and New Zealand and has grown from a single store operation to a large franchise network. While the Wendys of today is very different to that first store, our franchisees are still motivated by one simple philosophy – to deliver the ultimate treat experience to every customer, every time. Yum-O!
Cold Rock Ice Creamery was born out of the suburb of Aspley in Queensland in 1996 and we are proud to now span over 90 stores Australia wide.

The previous management team purchased the Australian Franchise System of Cold Rock in August 2002 and set about using their expertise to build Cold Rock as the premier ice cream franchise in Australia.
Cold Rock achieved a milestone in November 2008 with the eightieth store opening in Melbourne, Victoria. More exciting times are ahead with the impending 100 store due to open within the coming months!
The Cold Rock franchise is currently owned and managed by the Franchised Food Company, and is proudly 100% Australian owned and made.
Oliver's Real Food
At Oliver's Real Food, we believe that a vital component of good health is when a person takes interest in the quality of food they are eating. Too many of us live our lives with little aches and pains, coughs and colds, indigestion, constipation and excess weight and we think it's normal to feel like this.
What did you eat yesterday? Are you feeling gorgeous today, with clear skin and sparkly eyes? Are you feeling happy and bursting with energy? We Are What We Eat
Our body is like a large juicing machine. We put the whole food in the top and our body breaks down the food to give us vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, fibre, water and energy.
Unfortunately due to today's busy lifestyles, we tend to push too much fat, salt and sugar laden processed foods into the top of our juicers! So we end up feeling uncomfortable, a little achy and sluggish.
Our focus needs to be putting fresh, water based, fruits, veggies and unprocessed foods into the juicer to help clean and flush our systems. Even into our old age, we should feel alive and well.
At Olivers we believe we should let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food.
Welcome To Oliver's
We want you to feel you can relax and revitalise in our stores. Let us feed you some 'REAL' food. We make sure at Oliver's Real Food; you have an abundance of nutrient dense food that feeds your body with fuel and pleasure.
Food should be yummo! So we make it with love and passion, creating unique flavours and textures using fresh herbs, garlic and Himalayan rock salt. We use whole foods; these are natural untainted foods, which are rich in their natural endowment of nutrients. Whenever possible we use 'Organically Grown' to promote not only our health, but also the health of our planet. Our juices are freshly squeezed every day, from raw fruits and veggies, which have powerful healing and rejuvenating properties. We are also committed to the health of our future generations. That's why Oliver's Real Food has created healthy kids packs.
Not only do we help you feed your hungry tummy, we help you feed your whole body, the way nature intended it.
Where Do We Come From?
In 1990 Will and Grant Crothers (two Melbourne brothers from a family with generations of dairy experience) started Burra Foods. With a dairy factory in Gippsland south eastern Victoria, Burra Foods manufactures a range of specialty dairy ingredients for export markets.
In 2000 it was suggested that Burra develop a product unique to them in the Australian market – a signature product.
With the best milk, advanced dairy technology and the right resources they wanted a branded retail business supplying a fresh, premium dairy product. Identifying a gap in the market for funky and fresh ice cream or Italian gelato, the idea to create a contemporary, fun brand with surprisingly different products was developed.
The first Trampoline store opened in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, a diverse food and cafe precinct bordering Melbourne's CBD with an eclectic mix of all things bohemian, trendy, alternative and cool. It was here, in April 2004, that Trampoline was born with a bounce.
Another major milestone for the brand occured in December 2009 with the opening of the first interstate store at Indooroopilly, Queensland and again in early 2010 with the addition of two new stores in Darwin, located at the newly developed Darwin Waterfront Precinct and the ever-popular Knuckey Street.

Today, more Aussies are dealing with a mental illness than experiencing a common cold.
At MadCap Café, we provide work opportunities for people experiencing mental ill health.
Like any café, bar, shop or restaurant, some staff at MadCap have a mental illness. But you probably can't tell who they are. Because, like with a toothache or backache, mental illness doesn't discriminate, and you can't always see it. And like a toothache or backache you just have to deal with it. You make the coffee. You do the work. You carry on.
MadCap trainees choose to to get the training and experience they need to get a job.
At MadCap, we don't employ people to make coffee. We make coffee to employ people.
